HKS are a family-run business with over forty years of experience designing and installing beautiful kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms. Alongside our passion and dedication to home interiors, we are also committed to supporting charities in the wider community. Recently, HKS embarked on an exciting journey to support Sue Ryder, a charitable organisation dedicated to offering end-of-life care and bereavement support. They are a charity close to many people’s hearts and provide comfort, compassion, and palliative care across the UK to those in their time of need.
HKS’ commitment to enriching lives aligns perfectly with the mission of the Sue Ryder charity. This initiative also highlights our very own dedication to social responsibility, further emphasising our deep-rooted belief in giving back to the community and making a substantial impact in whatever ways we can.
A Lovely Day to Eat Delicious Treats and Raise Money
On Saturday 16th March, HKS proudly hosted an exciting fundraiser bake sale, inviting guests to come along and support us in raising money for our chosen charity, Sue Ryder. Set amidst the elegant backdrop of our HKS Interiors Showroom in Hayward Heath, we hung up the bunting, blew up the balloons, and got to sample some tasty treats, all in aid of a fantastic cause.
There was a delightful range of cakes and biscuits on sale in our showroom including cupcakes, mini egg banana bread, and chocolate cake. The guests savoured this medley of sweet creations, all accompanied by sparkling beverages, and indulged in the luxury of our beautiful interior designs, whilst raising money and awareness of an amazing charity.
A lovely day was had by all and most importantly, we raised a fantastic total of £181.44 for the Sue Ryder charity. HKS also doubled the amount raised during the cake sale meaning the overall total was £362.88, which is amazing and it will all go towards helping with their work in end-of-life care and bereavement support.
We would like to thank everybody who came along to our charity fundraising bake sale and the friendly HKS staff who helped on the day. It’s still not too late to contribute, so please visit our website and click on our About page where you can find more details about our chosen charity.
